I’ll load the route onto your GPS and point out the best places to stop for a swim, a snack, or a long lunch.

A trip I put together for the Mike & Melissa family · September 2026
I designed this for Mike, Melissa, Teo, and Amani — short riding days, empty beaches, and plenty of time for ice-cream stops.
Here’s what I’ll sort for you
I’ll load the route onto your GPS and point out the best places to stop for a swim, a snack, or a long lunch.
Premium E-Bikes for the adults. Teo will ride in a co-pilot/tandem setup, and Amani will have a 24-inch E-bike or tandem — I’ll make sure everyone feels safe.
I’ll move your luggage between hotels every morning and stay on call if you need a hand.
Gear for the little riders
Teo and Amani each get a setup that matches their age and confidence.

For Amani (8)
A proper 24-inch E-bike with a mid-drive motor, smooth hydraulic brakes and plenty of range for the coastal greenways.

For Teo (7)
A WeeRide-style co-pilot mounted on an adult bike, so Teo can pedal along with you and take breaks whenever he needs.
The route at a glance
Out of Ponte de Lima to the coast, north along the Atlantic, up the Minho river, across into Spain, and finishing in Baiona — then I’ll drive you and the bikes back.
Your week, day by day
This is the rhythm I’ve planned for your family. Short rides, long lunches, and lots of time for beaches and markets.
Day 0 · Sat, Sept 5
Arrive, breathe, and settle in. The bikes can wait until tomorrow.
Day 1 · Sun, Sept 6
I’ll meet you in Ponte de Lima, get everyone fitted and comfortable, then roll down the Lima valley all the way to the Atlantic.
Day 2 · Mon, Sept 7
Boardwalks, dunes, and fishing villages along the Ecovia do Litoral all the way to the Minho estuary.
Day 3 · Tue, Sept 8
A gentle out-and-back along the river greenway — Spain will be right across the water the whole way.
Day 4 · Wed, Sept 9
Cross the Minho by boat and ride the Galician coast into Baiona, finishing inside a 16th-century fortress.
Day 5 · Thu, Sept 10
Private transfer back to Ponte de Lima for you, the kids, and the bikes.
